Biography

Amelia Lamis (she/her) is a first-year graduate student from New York City. She obtained her BA in Latin and Greek in 2022 from CUNY Hunter College where she focused on literature and ancient music. Her current interests involve representations of identity in literature and art, performance studies, and reception. She is passionate about creative and multidisciplinary research methods, public humanities outreach, and diversity in classical studies.
