Biography

Amy is a fourth-year graduate student from Ottawa, Illinois.

Research Interests

  • Myth of Persephone — ancient texts and receptions
  • Ancient perceptions of the afterlife
  • Mythological allusions, especially in early modern literature
  • Gender and sexuality
  • Greek epic and tragedy
  • Greco-Roman mythology
