Biography
Marc Abou-Abdallah is a Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. He earned his Ph.D. in ancient Middle Eastern history and languages from La Sorbonne University in Paris, which was awarded in 2010. Since 2011, he has taught at several universities in Canada and Lebanon, offering courses on ancient and contemporary history of the Middle East. His subjects include the invention of the alphabet, the historical contexts of wars and conflicts in the Middle East, and Lebanese psephology.
