Classics graduate student Ky Merkley has been selected as a 2022 recipient of the Xiaohui Zhang Diversity and Community Engagement Award given by the School of Literatures, Cultures, and Linguistics. The award recognizes Ky’s creation of “Trans in Classics,” a community organization dedicated to supporting and foregrounding trans scholars and scholarship in the field of Classics.
