I am a Graduate Student at the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign, and this is the second year I am teaching the Modern Greek language courses. My interests include reading literature and dancing mostly traditional Greek dances; I believe that language is strongly connected with culture and I try to convey this connection through my teaching. I received my Bachelor and my MS in Civil Engineering in Democritus University of Thrace, Greece, and I am now completing a second MS in Geotechnical Civil Engineering at UIUC. In 2018-19, I am teaching Elementary and Intermediate Modern Greek (GRKM 201, 202, 403).
